Greetings all,
Thank you for all your uplifting prayers. We arrived in Cape Town last night. Finally, the entire team is together. Today was spent getting familiar with the compound and handling some logistical details. Our recent safari experience is fresh in our minds. What an experience getting to know one another and experiencing God's creation at the same time. I've posted some pictures below. We are now focused on the camp and campers. Tomorrow, the facilitators arrive and we begin to team build with them. The kids arrive on saturday morning. Keep those prayers coming and lift-up the facilitators our goal is to become one team doing HIS work. Tomorrow morning will be another post and I'll include some pictures of the facility.

Go Team. Build a Team! What I really want to hear about are all the little kids. The fun will really start soon!
ReplyDeleteHi, I've been sending your safari pix to family & they are impressed. Libby wanted to know if those were real animals. LOL. Sonya was delighted Grandpa Jim sent her heritage stuff -- she called him right away to thank him. Ann & Don went to her concert last night, which was great. Some "squeakers" -- kids who don't practice at high altitude. Forgot to tell you, we saw Abby's St. Jude's commercial during the movie trailers when we saw Harry Potter. It has snowed a few inches this afternoon/evening. We're going to St. John's at the Christian Centre to see a free movie tonight. TGIF, long week. Hope all is well with your back, and we are praying that Jessica is healing. Love to all, Cathy & Sonya
ReplyDeleteHi, again . . . very light snow, not much accumulations, haven't needed the snowplow man yet. Another thing I forgot to tell you, Dottie S.K. sent a very nice letter. That's the latest of who I've heard from. Movie was very sad but very good also. I told the St. John's folks about the mission team trip & gave Roger your blogs. Love, Cathy
